Us Norwegians are often portrayed as stubborn people. Well, we don’t care what you think and we’re not changing anyway, so shut up.

This charming stereotype is hilariously typified in this video of determined shoppers walking/staggering bent at 45 degree angles as they fight through the hurricane-force wind of Storm Ivar in downtown Aalesund. Alas, my wish that the guy wearing the baggy pants would end up naked down to his ankles was not fulfilled.

This levity aside, Ivar left a trail of destruction in parts of Sweden, leaving 55,000 people without power at one point. In Aalesund, one man was taken to the hospital after he was literally blown off the sidewalk and into the street.
