Using my very limited skills and resources, I have slapped together a montage of photos from my recently completed Lonely Planet Tuscany research trip. As a general nod to posterity (and those considering my internship offer), I’ve chosen to irresponsibly romanticize the trip by leaving out pictures of me limping, being lost, rained on and falling asleep at dinner between the primo and secondo. Enjoy.

Wow — what kind of budget are we talking here for the LP gigs? Some fine dining there…
I think the photo of all the empty wine glasses is a masterpiece. I hope you had company at that meal!
Just came across your blog/site. You meld the best of both worlds for me: travelling and humour. Yup, the spelling. Yup, I’m Canadian.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, lots of absolutely fantastic scenery and what looks to have been scrumptious food and mind-altering wine, but dude, at 1:33 there is a beautiful woman standing RIGHT BEHIND YOU and you’re looking at a peace of paper.
Ever think about getting one of those helmet mirrors the bike riders use. Functional and whoa, how cool would you look?!?
great video, I loved it! Will forward to my foodie and Tuscan-addicted friends :o) Also your comments about limping, being rained on etc made me laugh out loud – what would a trip be without a few incidents that are not according to plan!
take me with you next time…
Wow, great slide show! Too bad it was raining all the time! Working for LP is a fine job, I see! :)
Very nice. Italy is on my list of travel destinations. I would like to visit Sicily as well. Tuscany is beautiful, and I as a writer I would appreciate the beauty and inspiration.
