[After my declaration of relaxing a lot and blogging a little while on this trip, I am going to attempt to fill the void with shameless links to old travelogues that somehow missed the Pulitzer Committee's attention. Please excuse the copious typos.]
Mostly Unfunny, But Necessary Introduction: In which the author builds up to his epic 2005 travelogue of Burma with a slightly less epic introduction, full of disclaimers, caveats, an abbreviated history and nude photos of himself*.
Yangon: In which the author begins with the incredibly detailed, blow-by-blow of his arrival and stay in Burma’s capital city.

Great post. Sounds amusing and interesting. I feel you had a long stay in Yangon. Nice pictures especially of the Buddha temple. The locals seem to be courteous and friendly.
