To this day, the best pizzas I have ever had were in Italy. I was even in Venice, which is more touristy than authentic, and had a better pizza than any ever in the US, which is hard to believe since I know my pizza, what being a pizza delivery guy for Fox’s Pizza for two years in college and eating untold numbers to this day from any one willing to offer me one.

The other thing I had there that was exquisite was ‘Scuttlefish’. Don’t look it up until after you eat it, with the ink. One of the best meals I’ve ever had.

Doesn’t matter whether you might be back to Italy again–it is your responsibility at this moment to eat as much pizza as you possibly can, for all of us who are not there to do it ourselves.

And why are you in that particular town anyway? If you thought it was just some random spot on the map, think again–perhaps this pizza is your destiny.

Uhg, Leif, you do not have the slowest internet; China’s still all mucked up from the Taiwan earthquake, and it took me ten minutes just to get to yer site–beat that, suckah! And I can’t even get the doctor story load, but perhaps that’s for the best.
Eat more pizza, for me, and I’ll eat a couple chicken sticks for ya!
Btw; I drank oodles of hard cider in NZ; it wasn’t Strongbow, but it did in a pinch!

Loved your latest blog, you had me laughing quite a bit. As for the Romanian doctor and his fellow colleagues (the one who are defending his actions), they all need to do
some “soul searching” and have an extensive course on the purpose of being a doctor!

The lastest poll from Europe (GfK Custom Research Worldwide for Wall Street Journal Europe) are always pointing a negative finger on the US, but fails to “enlighten” themselves on their own obnoxious behaviours. There is good and bad in all corners of the world. This article can read from Hotnews.ro.

I was watching a Travel Channel show featuring Portland/Seattle, and there’s a dude in P-land who has been called “Il Nazi Pizionni.” Just kidding. The Pizza Nazi. He allows no more than three toppings. They also make their own dough, and when the daily dough go, no mo’ fo’ sho.’ They shut the do’…even if it’s 6 or 7 p.m.
Since I have always spent all my money in Portland on brew, I can’t verify the validity of this pizza’s awesomeness, but perhaps all is not lost for the Americas.

Hm… Yeah, that was big back in 2004.

“Doctor Naum Ciomu, sent to court for grievous bodily harm in October 2004, was convicted Tuesday to one year of jail with suspension on certain terms by the Courthouse of Bucharest’s 5th Sector. He must also pay moral compensations worth EUR125,000.
The court also suspended Ciomu’s right to practice for three years and obliged him to pay material compensations worth RON 9,000.”

One year jail time with suspension (more like three months probably) and EUR130,000 in damages is really not much. But hey, at least he’ll never practice again… Unless he moves to South Africa (or California) like Dr. Rath!

Incredible. This female ophthalmologist needs to wake up and realize that with great responsibility comes, well, great responsibility. Being a doctor carries a level ofpersonal responsibility that is uncommon in other professions. She is obviously very deceived about her role and that of her colleagues. But then again, can we really expect a member of the elite to criticize a system that is holding up the floorboard of her BMW X5? Nu.
